The Company may provide, sell or transfer Non-personal Identifiable Information about user sales, traffic patterns, preferences or any other related Website or Service information to third parties.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

The Company only collects Personal Information voluntarily given to us by you. The Company does not require Visitors to provide it with any Personal Information to access public areas of our website; however, the Company may use or collect a Visitor’s IP Address and other diagnostic information to: a) diagnose problems with the Company’s server or Website or b) to identify you during your registration as a User.

  • a)The Company uses certain third party contractors or vendors to perform certain services for us, including, but not limited to, web hosting, website maintenance and performance improvement tasks. When any user or visitor subscribes to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) the computing device is assigned an IP Address, which the Company will track and store to manage security and monitor usage volume and patterns.
  • b)The Company will disclose Personal Information: 1) if it is required to do so by law or regulation or judicial order; 2) if we receive a validly issued subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction; 3) to defend or enforce the Company’s rights under any Agreement between a User and the Company, including but not limited to this Online Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use relating to this Website or the Pay Subscription Service Agreement; or 4) if a you consent to the disclosure.

We embed the WooCommerce Services plugin for payments with PayPal: purchase total, currency, billing information. For taxes: the value of goods in the cart, value of shipping, destination address. For checkout rates: destination address, purchased product IDs, dimensions, weight, and quantities. For shipping labels: customer’s name, address as well as the dimensions, weight, and quantities of purchased products.

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

For example, we will store order information for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

What we share with others

We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you.

For payments, we send the purchase total, currency and customer’s billing information to the respective payment processor. Information shared with a payment provider to process payments includes:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Address
  • Phone
  • City/State/Zip
  • Unique payment identifier
  • Payment provider identifier

Please see the respective third party’s privacy policy (PayPal’s Privacy Policy) for more details. For automated taxes we send the value of goods in the cart, the value of shipping, and the destination address to TaxJar. Please see TaxJar’s Privacy Policy for details about how they handle this information. For checkout rates we send the destination ZIP/postal code and purchased product dimensions, weight and quantities to USPS or Canada Post, depending on the service used. For shipping labels, we send the customer’s name, address as well as the dimensions, weight, and quantities of purchased products to EasyPost. We also store the purchased shipping labels on our server to make it easy to reprint them and handle support requests.

We collect your public profile data only from your consent that you grant before initiating Social Login, from the social network used to login at our website. This data includes your first name, last name, email address, link to your social media profile, unique identifier, and link to social profile avatar. This data is used to create your user profile at our website. You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us an email.

We embed Facebook Comments plugin to allow you to leave comment at our website using your Facebook account. This plugin may collect your IP address, your web browser User Agent, store and retrieve cookies on your browser, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the commenting interface, including correlating your Facebook account with whatever action you take within the interface (such as “liking” someone’s comment, replying to other comments), if you are logged into Facebook. We use GooglePlus Comments widget at our website for you to be able to comment at our web pages using your GooglePlus account. From this interaction Google automatically collects and store certain information in server logs like IP address, device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, in accordance with their data privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We use Disqus Comments widget at our website for you to be able to comment at our web pages using Disqus commenting system. Disqus may collect information about you when you register for and use the Service. Such information may include “Personally Identifiable Information” which means information that identifies you as an individual, such information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, telephone number, username or account ID, and “Non-Personally Identifiable Information” which means information that does not identify you as an individual. We collect the data related to the Facebook Comment you post, only from your consent that you grant before posting a Facebook Comment at our website. This data includes your Facebook account name, unique Facebook account identifier, unique identifier associated to the posted Facebook comment, unique open graph object identifier of the web page at which you posted the comment, unique identifier associated to the parent comment if you reply to an existing comment. This data is used to show recent Facebook Comments made all over our website and/or to show the old comments made at non-SSL web pages before we moved our website to SSL. You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us an email.

We send the Facebook Comment you post, to page/post author and/or website administrator via automated email, only from your consent that you grant before posting Facebook Comment at our website. This data includes just the Facebook comment posted by you.

We use MailPoet newsletter and emails. If you have subscribed to our newsletter or if you are a member of our website (you can log in) or if you have purchased on our website, there is a good chance you will receive emails from us.
We will only send you emails which you have signed up to receive, or which pertain to the services we provided to you.
To send you emails, we use the name and email address you provide us. Our site also logs the IP address you used when you signed up for the service to prevent abuse of the system.

Personal information and Non-Personal Identifiable Information may be collected, transferred or stored at a destination outside the EEA. NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

California law gives California residents providing Personal Information to the Company the right to request once per calendar year that the Company provide users with information about how the Company has shared the user’s Personal Information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To the extent applicable, if at all, such information includes: a) list and names and addresses of all third parties with whom such Personal Information was shared during the prior calendar year along with a list of the categories of Personal Information shared. To make such a request, please send an email to info@CT-Boudoir.com and specifically reference “California Privacy Request” in the subject matter line. Your request should include your name, physical address (other than email address) and an email address. The Company will respond to your request within thirty (30) days of the receipt of your request.

The Company does not share Personal Information with third parties for their marketing purposes and will not do so without prior written consent.

CALIFORNIA “DO NOT TRACK” SETTINGS

Some web browsers have settings that allow users to request that Websites not track a user’s movement within a Website. The Company’s Website DOES NOT obey any such settings when transmitted to, or received (whether detected or not) by the Company’s Website.

Deletion of Personal Information

If a user wishes to no longer receive Company email updates and chooses to have all personal information deleted from the Company’s records, please send an email to info@CT-Boudoir.com with the word “Unsubscribe” in the subject field.

Security

We have adopted and adhere to stringent security standards designed to protect non-public Personal Information obtained or stored by the Company is protected from and against accidental or unauthorized access or disclosure. Among the safeguards that the Company has developed for this Website are administrative, physical and technical barriers that together protect the Website from unauthorized access or use. We may from time to time be required to shut down the entire Website for security maintenance.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, users acknowledge that no 100% guarantee can be made regarding the security of any data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network.
