In this class, you will be processing fresh apples into applesauce and then you will learn how to prepare your jars and preserve your applesauce. Everyone goes home with a jar of applesauce.
Water-bath canning is one of the safest and easiest method of food preservation that allows you to enjoy seasonal foods all year long.

This Class Will Cover:

• Why should you can your own food
• What is water-bath canning
• Canning dos and don’ts
• Supplies you’ll need
• Tips for better results

We will also cover the history of canning as well as different canning methods used depending on what type of food you want to preserve.
