Homemade Multipurpose Bread & Sweet Rolls
Steve Riel
This recipe is great for sandwich bread, rolls, pizza dough and bagels with a few modifications on the amount of sugar used. We've included notes for each and a few extra steps if you're making bagels. Great for holidays, parties or just because you love bread products as much as we do!

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until a rough dough is formed then kneed by hand until smooth (about 5 minutes) or put all the ingredients into a food processor with a dough blade on low for 2 ½ minutes
Turn dough out onto working area, smooth into a ball and put into a greased bowl and cover to hold in moisture

Punch down the dough and divide, shape and put into its appropriate pan
Allow to rise in a warm place for an additional ½ hour (Can be put in your oven with just the oven light on and the door closed)
Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for 15- 20 minutes or until golden brown for a bread loaf, 10- 15 minutes for rolls or pizza dough. See special note for bagels.

NOTES:
- For pizza crust: use only 1 Tbsp sugar and skip the rising process (steps 3 & 5)
- For Bagels: after the initial rising, shape into bagels and boil in 1 gallon of water mixed with 1 Tbsp of baking soda for 2 minutes. Flip and boil a final 2 minutes then move onto step 6 in the above directions.
